Program Information
Though SCOPE serves as a learning experience through immersing members in the ER environment, the primary goal of the program is to improve efficiency at each of the participating hospitals.In order to fulfill the goals outlined in SCOPE's Mission Statement, all interns and interpreters are trained to:
- Assist ER physicians with obtaining labs.
- Keep track of patients.
- Manage the paperwork that accompanies each patient.
Interns and interpreters participate in project teams geared toward program maintenance, administration, and implementation, in addition to fulfilling their clinical responsibilites.
